Emily Levin-Rosenshine (she/they) serves as an Overdose Prevention AmeriCorps VISTA Member with the SafeRx program at HIP. Emily earned her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacological Chemistry from UC San Diego, and excels with biochemistry, pharmacology, and (believe it or not) quantum mechanics! She was a pre-pharmacy volunteer for three years at the UCSD Student-Run Free Clinic Project, which sparked her interest in public health and health equity for underserved populations. She is passionate about evidence-based harm reduction efforts that center the needs of people with substance use disorders. After her service term with AmeriCorps, Emily will complete her Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree at UC San Diego Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. Fun fact about Emily is that she is a triplet! In her free time, she loves to social dance and spend time on the beach.
