


Eve Ozog
Program Manager
Eve Ozog (she/her) is a Program Manager at the Health Improvement Partnership (HIP) of Santa Cruz County, where she supports SafeRx Santa Cruz County. Her work focuses on harm reduction, expanding access to care, and advancing community-driven strategies to reduce overdose deaths.
Eve’s background spans clinical care and public health systems, with experience in LGBTQIA+ clinical care, public health law and policy, and opioid use disorder programming. Most recently, she served as the Health Equity Coordinator at the New Mexico Department of Health, leading statewide efforts in equitable emergency planning and response. Her work focused on improving disaster outcomes and access to resources for historically marginalized communities, with a particular emphasis on Tribal populations.
Eve holds a Master of Public Health with a focus on Global Health and Health Disparities from the Colorado School of Public Health and a B.S. in Human Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz. She is passionate about systems change and community-led interventions that center equity, dignity, and justice, and is thrilled to return to Santa Cruz to continue this work alongside local partners.
In her free time, Eve enjoys hiking in the redwoods, curating Spotify playlists, and hanging out with her cat, Honey.
