


Operations and Program Manager
Berenice is a daughter of immigrants, born and raised in Watsonville, CA. She is committed to serving low-income immigrant and mixed-status families. She has a personal drive for preventative healthcare rooted in her unique experience caring for a sibling with disabilities.
Berenice graduated from the University of California, Davis, in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior. After working at community health centers in roles focused on addressing social and structural determinants of health, Berenice developed a passion for community health and social justice. Berenice is excited to join HIP to further her commitment to eliminating health disparities. Her future plans include pursuing a Master’s of Public Health.
In her free time, Berenice enjoys being a mom, spending time in nature, and exploring new places.
