NATIONAL HEALTH CENTER WEEK
2020
Community Health Centers constitute an essential pillar of support to uphold the health and wellbeing of thousands of people across the nation. They work tirelessly to meet the needs and challenges of their communities, and go to great lengths to provide quality care, effective resources, and accessible services to countless individuals and their families.
While they have always been in high demand, Community Health Centers are more important than ever as the world weaves trepidatiously through the numerous uncertainties caused by the coronavirus disease. To honor the incredible network of highly skilled health organizations in Santa Cruz County, this year's celebration captures COVID-19 Stories from the Safety Net.
The theme of National Health Center Week 2020 is:
Community Health Centers: Lighting the Way for Healthier Communities Today and in the Future
This year, the week-long celebration will occur virtually from August 9th - 15th.
